Alpha notice. The local wallet doesn't have its full security layer yet: passphrase lock and hardened key storage are still on the way. Treat it like a pocket wallet, not a vault, and keep amounts small while we harden things.

How it works

Your agent spends. You stay in charge. agent → MCP → QOI → your phone

  1. Agent asks. Your agent hits a paywalled API and requests payment over MCP.
  2. QOI evaluates. Policy checks and a live risk score, decided in milliseconds.
  3. You approve. One tap on your phone. Not a cent moves without you.
Fully non-custodial. Funds move straight from your wallet to the counterparty. QOI never holds, routes or touches your money. We're the governance layer: policy, risk assessment and approvals.

You approve payments

When an agent wants to pay for something, the request shows up in the app and waits for you.

Live activity feed

Watch requests and transactions as they happen, and check spending over time.

Your keys, your device

Keys and history are stored locally on your device, not on our servers.

FAQ

macOS says the app can't be verified. What do I do?
This can happen with alpha builds. Right-click the app in Applications, choose Open, then confirm. You only need to do this once. If macOS says the app is "damaged", the download was probably corrupted, so delete the .dmg and download it again.
Is QOI Guard free during the alpha?
Yes. Both the macOS alpha and the iOS TestFlight build are free during the alpha.
How do updates work?
On iOS, TestFlight updates automatically. On macOS, download the newest .dmg from the releases page and drag it over your existing copy.
How secure is the alpha wallet?
Your keys stay on your device, but the full protection layer, including passphrase lock and hardened key storage, is still landing. That's why it's an alpha: keep amounts small and update as new releases ship.
What data does QOI Guard collect?
Your keys and history stay on your device. The app only talks to services you connect yourself. Each release page lists what changed in that build.
