These terms cover your use of this website and of the Qoi Guard alpha software ("the software"), both provided by Qoi Pond Ltd, a company registered in the United Kingdom (Company No. 17206307).

Alpha software

The software is pre-release. It is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose. Features can change or break between releases, and the security hardening described on the download page is still in progress. Keep the amounts you hold in an alpha wallet small.

Self-custody

Qoi is non-custodial. Your keys are generated and stored on your device, and we never have access to them. That means we cannot freeze, recover or reverse transactions, and we cannot restore a wallet if you lose your device and your backup. You are responsible for safeguarding your keys and any recovery material.

Your responsibilities

• Use the software only where it is lawful for you to do so, and comply with the laws that apply to you, including tax obligations.
• Do not use the software for unlawful activity, or attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer for exploitation, or misuse the service.
• Payments approved by you or executed inside an allowance you configured are your decisions. Review your policy settings and approval requests before confirming.

Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Qoi Pond Ltd is not liable for losses arising from use of the alpha software, including loss of funds, keys or data, or from on-chain transactions you or your configured agent initiate. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under UK law.

No financial advice

Nothing on this site is investment, legal or tax advice. Crypto assets are volatile and you can lose what you hold.

Intellectual property

The Qoi name, logo and website content belong to Qoi Pond Ltd. Open-source components of the software are licensed under the terms published in their repositories.

Changes and governing law

We may update these terms as the product evolves; the date above reflects the current version. These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of its courts.
