Who we are

Qoi Pond Ltd is a company registered in the United Kingdom (Company No. 17206307). We are the data controller for the personal data described in this policy. You can reach us at hello@qoi.app.

What we collect, and why

This website collects one piece of personal data: your email address, and only if you choose to submit it through the early-access form.

• Purpose: to send you an invite when your early access is ready, and occasional updates about the alpha.
• Legal basis: your consent (UK GDPR Article 6(1)(a)). You give it by submitting the form, and you can withdraw it at any time.
• Retention: until your invite has been sent and acted on, or until you ask us to delete it, whichever comes first.

We do not sell, rent or share your email address for marketing.

What we don't collect

• No cookies. This site sets none.
• No analytics or tracking. We run no analytics scripts, pixels or fingerprinting.
• No third-party fonts or CDNs. All fonts and scripts are served from our own domain, so your IP address is not shared with font or CDN providers when you load the page.

The Qoi Guard app is separate from this website: your wallet keys and transaction history stay on your device and are never sent to our servers. Each app release lists what changed in that build.

Processors we use

• FormSubmit (formsubmit.co): relays your form submission to our inbox. Your email address passes through their service when you submit the form. FormSubmit may process data outside the UK/EEA; submissions are relayed, not stored as a marketing list.
• Email hosting: your address is then held in our company mailbox and invite list.
• GitHub: app downloads are hosted on github.com. When you download the app, GitHub's own privacy statement applies to that request.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you can ask us at any time to:

• access the data we hold about you;
• correct it;
• delete it;
• export it in a portable format;
• withdraw your consent, which removes you from the invite list.

Email hello@qoi.app and we will act on the request within one month. If you are unhappy with how we handle your data, you have the right to complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).

Changes

If this policy changes, we will update this page and the date at the top. Material changes that affect how we use your email will be announced to the addresses on the list before they take effect.
